There is something different about intercession and speaking blessings. It’s a different position. It’s a different authority. It’s a different posture. And I think it’s something that God is restoring for this time.

I don’t know about you, but I cry out to God, saying, “How long, Lord, before there’s justice on the earth?” And you can almost hear an echo coming back from heaven, saying, “And how long will it take my children to know who they are and Who they carry.”

And one of the things he’s restoring (I believe) is the ministry of speaking blessings.

And that’s over people.
And that’s over land.
And that’s over areas.
And that’s over leadership.
And that’s over churches.
That as we come, we speak.

God could do all of this stuff on his own, but he chooses to use us as conduits to release his blessings to the earth around us, “That the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

This is an excerpt from a longer message, "Blessing and the Movement of God," at CRM’s World Wide Conference in August, 2018. You can watch the entire message here.
